The new beta version has an amazing new UI, along with some minor bug fixes.

WhatsApp Messenger is a mobile messaging app. It allows you to send messages without

paying for SMS. WhatsApp Messenger is available for Blackberry, iPhone, Nokia, Android and Windows Phone. It uses the same internet data plan that you use for email and web browsing, hence there is no additional cost to message and stay in touch with your friends.

Besides basic messaging between BlackBerry, iPhone, Nokia, Android and Windows Phone smartphones, WhatsApp Messenger users can send each other unlimited images, video and audio media messages.
